I want to be 17 AGAIN!

Well no, not really, I just turned 18, and so far no difference, I'd rather be 5 again. Diapers were cool man. Anyways I saw this film a couple weeks ago. Obviously not the most memorable film as I barely remember it, but I will try for the sake of this post.
Basically the plot revolved around this man, Mike O'Donnell, wanting to live his glory days in high school where he was the star of the basketball team, but his life turned out to be fail, he has a dull job, and is getting divorced from his wife whom he had dated and impregnated (that rhymes!) in high school. He had a great basketball career ahead of him, but he had to leave those plans behind him because he went and had unprotected sex with his girlfriend, and therefore had responsibilities. So he comes across this janitor who with his magical janitor powers turns him into a 17 year old again, to try and do things right this time, though he doesn't end up changing things THAT much.
So pretty much the parts revolving around Zac Efron's character was pretty dull and a bit cheesy. The real highlight of the film was Thomas Lennon playing Ned Gold. LONG LIVE THE GEEKS! This guy had one of those car beds, that I've never actually seen in real life, but I've always dreamed of having one (I'm a kid at heart!). He has this cool video game station, he has Star Wars memorabilia all around his house, there is even a light saber fight in the film. He provided ALL of the laughs of the film, and without him, the film would have been FAIL!
The movie was overall OKAY, it definitely wasn't horrible, but I'm not planning on seeing it again. The plot was interesting, but could have been executed better, because Zac Efron's character was so unlikable. Ned Gold was the highlight of the film.
See if you want, there are definitely a few really good laughs in it, but there are also some excruciating to watch parts. So you decide!
Peace Out!
